Puppies Born on the Farm

Dixie has given us the gift of 7 newborn puppies. The 5 girls and 2 boys were born on January 28th. This is a repeat breeding of a litter born last January. The sire is RU Butch Cassidy mother and puppies appear to be doing fine. Unfortunately they were born on possibly the coldest day of the year. 20 below zero this morning with wind gusting to over 50 mph.

Billy Jackson available at stud.

Through a special arangement with Don Dack of Bethel MN, I am proud to announce that Billy Jackson is being made available for stud service through Winter Kennels. Billy has produced one litter so far and the puppies look real nice. Contact me for for info or to ask any questions. I have literally watch \ed Billy develop from puppyhood and he is a great bird dog.

Winter Kennels Website Finally Arrives.

After a long absence Winter Kennels is back on the web. Who knows exactly how often I will use this blog, but I will definitely put news up regarding puppy births, field trial trips and memorable hunting ventures as they happen.
